Location

The BrightnESS room at the ESS site.

Getting to site:

• Bus #20 runs between which the train station and site, and vice versa

Hotels

Some suggestions (roughly in order of price):

• Hotel Finn (20-25 minutes walk from the train station)
• Hotel Concordia (close to the centre)
• Hotel Nordic Lund (close to the centre)
• Hotel Lundia (close to the centre)
• The Grand Hotel (close to the centre)

The ESS has a special rate for all these hotels, please contact Thomas (thomas.larsen@esss.se) and he will arrange a discounted booking for you.

The Hotel Finn is the cheapest but modern. They also offered a shuttle bus to the ESS site; please contact Thomas if you are interesting in this.

With beamline controls in the form of ECDC now being officially part of the ESS org chart with a changed line structure, we should take the opportunity to (re-)establish our ways of working together.
In the initial two sessions we aim to cover the views from management as well as from staff on what we need to deliver for ESS and how we go about doing it.
