The participants will split up into three predetermined groups. Each group will feature one of the speakers and one ESS staff member. The ESS staff member will be taking minutes, and moderating the discussions. The groups will build upon topics opened in the three talks that preceded it. The groups should aim to answer the following question: How can the ILO Network, together with the In-Kind Field Coordinators engage in the future ESS Innovations?

o Innovation in Procurement The participants in this group should discuss best ways to identify how procurement can lead to innovation; for instance, understanding the new market opportunities in ESS related sectors and disciplines. Additionally, in this topic the participants could explore how interactions with suppliers can lead to improved designs and/or specifications. Relevant examples will be provided. o Innovation in In-Kind work The participants in this group should focus on innovation opportunities within In-Kind Collaborations, from the current construction phase of ESS to Operational Phase of the Facility. Relevant examples will be provided. o Harvesting Innovation at ESS The participants in this group should focus on innovations that are already taking place at ESS and how these innovations can be explored and disseminated. ESS will provide examples of said innovations.
