Description
MAX IV is the new synchrotron project under construction in Lund, Sweden. It not only has the ambition to be a world leader in the brightness of the x-rays produced, beyond that it aims at doing it in an energy efficient and environmentally friendly way. The presentation will outline the coherent concept going all the way from accelerator design, building technology, heat recovery to landscaping and transport systems.
