Description
The current energy situation for particle accelerators is investigated and presented together with an overview over technical solutions that are possible to initiate for making energy efficiency improvements and a brief conclusion over where they would be most beneficial. It is being investigated how surplus heat, especially low temperature heat, can be reused efficiently with lowest possible addition of auxiliary energy.
