Description
Marie Portier holds a general engineering degree from Mines de Nancy. She started her career in 2000
at Air Liquide in R&D (Paris Innovation Campus) as a research engineer. She worked in particular on
the development of purification technologies and tools for optimizing the operation of hydrogen
production units.
She then joined the Air Liquide Engineering Department and AL-aT where she held several positions as
product manager and proposal manager in the development of standard units (Oxygen production
plants, Hydrogen membrane systems) and innovative technologies (CO2 Capture units) projects. In
2011, she took on the Cryogenic Innovative Solution Development team management role in the
Engineering Department.
In 2016, she was then entrusted with the management of key Engineering Department Innovative
development projects: Air Separation Unit disruptive development program, then of the Electrolysis and
Hydrogen Liquefaction development program.
Since 2021, she is managing the Innovation Business Unit at ALaT, within the Technical and Innovation
Department, in charge of the execution of ALaT's R&D and Innovative technology development projects
for the Air Liquide group and AL-aT customers.
