Science Seminar: Kazuo Kurihara: Neutron single-crystal diffractometers for protein molecules in Japan: BIX-3, BIX-4 and iBIX

The presentation will include

• an introduction to BIX-3, BIX-4 and iBIX
• brief reports of research results on BIX-3 and BIX-4: Elastase (2009) and PYP (2009) and iBIX: AGAO (2020, 2023)
• a recent upgrade of BIX-3 and BIX-4

Kazuo Kurihara is from the Institute for Quantum Science and Technology (QST) in Japan. He will be visiting ESS in an advisory capacity working with the team at NMX.
