This is an introduction to EPICS 4, or what is to become EPICS 7 in the future. The course will cover:

• Introduction to EPICS 4 and to the features it provides
• Introduction to the structures and components  of EPICS 4
• Hands-on exercises to write EPICS 4 client or server software
