ESS LINAC Design Options

Abstract:
The October 2012 baseline for the ESS linac is a robust design that will provide a peak beam power of 125 MW with an average beam power of 5 MW. To provide cost and schedule contingency, modifications of this design have been examined. These modifications will be presented. A discussion session will follow the presentation.
