To figure out what is a timing system good for and how to implement timing-related functions with the MRF system can look like a daunting task. This talk aims to help newcomers but also users with some experience by illustrating practical uses cases of the system and utilising various features of the system to solve timing-related issues.
This talk will describe the required steps to get started with the MRF timing system from scratch on the Linux platform. The presentation starts with explaining installation of the required Linux driver and API and goes through simple examples of use. The presentation will be of particular interest to new users and those who want to learn the system in more detail.
