Blykalla is developing its lead-cooled SEALER reactor for the production of power and high-quality heat. The use of liquid lead as a coolant allows the design of a passively safe reactor in a very compact format. In this seminar, the distinguishing features of the reactor, including means for corrosion protection and its high-performance fuel are presented. Moreover, the timeline for licensing and deployment in Sweden is outlined, discussing particular aspects of a potential deployment on the ESS site.
