Now the summer is over we are re-starting these reciprocal visits between ESS and MAX IV.
This next visit is hosted by MAX IV and will focus on their laboratories.
The tour will include the biology and chemistry labs, and we hope also to visit the MAX IV sample environment and STM lab.
The Bio & Chem labs at MAX IV are the central laboratory facility for the support of synchrotron experiments that are carried out at various beamlines and also for in-house research. The Microscopy support labs at MAX IV include three different machines: a scanning tunneling microscope, an atomic force (scanning) microscope and a scanning electron microscope.
