Indico will be upgraded during 13:00 to 15:00 on 22^nd March due to security reason. After the upgrade, new URL will be applied: https://indico.ess.eu when the old URL ( https://indico.esss.lu.se ) is still valid. 

• If you have an ESS account, please click “Login with LDAP” and login with your ESS username and password;
• If you have an indico account, please click “Indico” and login with your indico account. If you don’t remember your password, please click “Forgot my password” and follow the guide to reset your password.

Indico is open again for external users, with some new restrictions in place to mitigate the problems we had last week, when a bot started to create a lot of meetings with a lot of texts and links.

The ability to create meetings, lectures and conferences has been restricted to the manager of each Category. The managers name can be found in the right column of the Category page. Please contact one of the managers if you need to create an event. The manager can create the event for you and set you as manager of the event.

When possible, make the event protected and set an access key for those who should be able to access the content of the event. Please note that public event are open for everyone and that the material published within that event is public and easily downloadable for anyone.

I have shortend the url to the indico application but all old links should still work. Let me know if you have any issues.

It is possible to intgrate vidyo into indico. You will be able to link a video conference room to a conference. This feature is not enabled but we can try to make it work. If you would like this feature please let me know.

Now links will use indico.ess.lu.se and not indico03.esss.lu.se. Old links will however continue to work for the forseeable future.

Do not change how you use the tool but know that links you send out from now will point to indico.esss.lu.se which is how it is supposed to work.

I have found some problems with the server acctual that I have fixed now. This may impact the registration problems we have been having. But I will also keep digging into the errors that are produced.
