How to get to Building 305
From Nørreport Station
In order to get to the DMSC offices by bus from Nørreport Station, we suggest that you take bus 150S or 15E from Nørreport Station and get off at the Rævehøjvej, DTU stop on Helsingørmotorvejen.
Building 305 is located 15 minutes walk away from the bus stop.
The buses leave every 5-10 minutes and the journey takes about 25 minutes to the Rævehøjvej, DTU stop, depending on traffic. The bus stop at Nørreport Station is located next to the traffic lights at the intersection of Nørre Voldgade and Gothersgade.
From Copenhagen Central Station
Catch S-tog (S-train) A from platform 9 or 10 to Lyngby Station.
Once at Lyngby Station, you can catch busses 300S, 181, 190 or 40E to reach DTU campus. The correct bus stop is DTU (Anker Engelunds Vej).
Building 305 is a 5 minutes walk away from the bus stop.
What to do upon arrival
Head straight to the DMSC reception desk on the 1st floor. You’ll receive your name tag and any additional information you may need.
VISA requirements
If your visit to Denmark requires a VISA, it is your responsibility to request one.
Be aware that there might be waiting time to get a Schengen Visa. Therefore it is recommended that you register well in advance and apply for your visa.

Transport in CPH: Rush hour between 07:00-09:00 in the morning and 15:30-17:30 in the afternoon
Tickets: Travelling in the city? You will need a 2 zone ticket. 2 zones adult ticket is 24 DKK (approx. 3 EUR)
Travelling to/from Lyngby? You will need a 5 zone ticket. 5 zones adult ticket is 44 DKK (approx. 6 EUR)
You can purchase tickets from the machines at all the metro and train stations. They accept Danish cash and the most common credit cards. If you are travelling by bus, you can buy tickets from the bus drivers but ONLY WITH CASH (preferably small change). Otherwise, you can download the app DOT Tickets.

Currency and credit cards:
The currency in Denmark is Danish Kroner (DKK). One euro is equivalent to approx. 7,5 Danish kroner. The most common credit card in Copenhagen is VISA, but you should have no problem finding ATMs/cash machines that accept Mastercard and American Express as well. Bring your PIN code.

Weather: The average temperatures at the end of August in Copenhagen are: day 20 Celsius/night 13-15 Celsius.
