About Søren Bang Korsholm

Søren Bang Korsholm is a senior scientist at the Department of Physics, Technical University of Denmark. His field of research is plasma physics and fusion energy, and he leads the effort to develop the European-supplied fast ion Collective Thomson Scattering diagnostic system for the international fusion energy big science facility ITER. He cofounded BigScience.dk in 2010 and is the Danish ILO to F4E and ITER. He has a PhD in physics. He is also a lecturer and supervisor at DTU and has authored and coauthored 90+ peer-reviewed articles.
