Participation in the school and the field trip to Lund is free of charge.
Participants are expected to cover their own travel, accommodation, and some evening meal expenses.
It is required to upload a poster abstract for a registration to be considered valid. The poster abstract will be used to select students if the school is oversubscribed.
The abstract will be evaluated based on two criteria: its overall quality and its relevance to neutron scattering.

The registration includes:
- Admission to all sessions during the summer school week
- Social events: Welcome Reception (Sunday), Gaming night (Tuesday), Conference dinner (Thursday)
- Morning and afternoon coffee breaks during the school week (Monday-Friday)
- Lunch during the school week (Monday-Friday)
- Trip to visit the ESS construction site in Lund, Sweden (Monday)
Sunday Social Activity
You are also able to register to attend the social activity on Sunday, the 24th of August. More information will come.
Payment
The summer school including lunch, coffee breaks and social events are free of charge. Participants are expected to cover their own travel, accommodation, and some evening meal expenses.
