The McStas team, together with the ICANS organisers, is hosting an informal lightning-talk session on Tuesday, 14 April (afternoon), focused on instrument simulation.
Who can attend?
Anyone attending ICANS who works with or is interested in:
- McStas/McStasScript
- Instrument simulation
- NCrystal, MCPL
- Related tools (e.g. VITESS, SimRes, if present)
Lightning talk format
- Very short talk
- No slides required (max one slide if needed)
- Possible topics:
- Instrument-simulation work
- Problems or limitations have been encountered
- Ides for improvements or new features
- Any McStas- or simulation-related topic
The goal is immediate discussion and feedback, and potentially starting work on solutions or documentation during the ICANS week.
