We are pleased to announce that the Call for Abstracts for the Joint ESS ILL User Meeting 2026 is open.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
To submit an abstract, you must first create an account on INDICO by selecting the “Login” option in the top-right corner of the page. Once your account is set up, you can proceed via the “Submit a new abstract” section.
REVIEW PROCESS AND AUTHOR NOTIFICATION
All submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the organising committee based on scientific quality and relevance to the selected themes of this year’s User Meeting. Submissions that do not meet the required quality standards or are not aligned with these themes may not be accepted.
Authors will be informed of the review outcome, including whether their contribution has been selected for an oral or poster presentation.
Abstracts are expected to align with the five scientific topics guiding this year’s programme. However, to encourage broader participation from the community, an “Other” category is also available for submissions that fall outside these focus areas. Please note that abstracts submitted under this category will be considered for poster presentations only.
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
When preparing your abstract, please ensure that it:
- Does not exceed 300 words
- Does not include figures, graphs, or tables
The submitting author is responsible for entering all co-authors in the appropriate fields, including their affiliations and email addresses.
EDITING YOUR SUBMISSION
To make changes to a submitted abstract, go to “View my abstracts” on the main page, select your abstract, and choose the “Edit” option.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Please note that submitting an abstract does not automatically register you for the event. All participants must complete a separate registration via the “Registration” section on the Overview page once it becomes available.
