A number of satellite meetings will be held in conjunction with the User Meeting.
If you are considering organising a satellite meeting, please reach out to us so that we can support you in finding a venue. As we approach the operations phase of ESS, we particularly encourage satellites focused on identifying early science with ESS instruments.

SKADI Early Science Workshop
As ESS prepares for the start of operations, the SKADI instrument team invites the community to discuss and shape the early science opportunities at the facility.
The lunch-to-lunch workshop (16–18 November) will present the instrument capabilities, expected performance during the ESS start-up phase, key milestones, and planned sample environment and data analysis tools.
Scientific sessions include:
- 16–17 Nov: Soft Matter, Materials and Biology
- 17 Nov: Lunch session on GISANS
- 17–18 Nov: Hard Matter, Magnetic Materials, Spin Phenomena, Correlated Systems and Geology
