Welcome to the Science Away Days 2024!
This year marks a departure from the traditional Science Day, as take two days away at Sundsgården Hotell and Konferens in Rydebäck, nestled along the beautiful coast just south of Helsingborg.
This year we will not invite members of the wider ESS community, our PhD students and post-doctoral researchers. This enables the focus to be on you – the employees in the ESS science directorate. The programme presents an opportunity to meet ESS instruments and to hear about the research our scientists will conduct.
You'll have the opportunity to walk along the coastline, for afternoon refreshments providing a good opportunity to forge connections with your colleagues. Finally, there will be discussion sessions to help us influence the working environment we create in the science directorate.
If you are taking the bus to Sundsgården, but have taken your car to ESS please remember to park your car at the 'old' parking (Temp Office parking).
