The IKON meetings are a regular forum centered around the design and construction of the ESS neutron instruments and their associated support facilities. By bringing together current and future partners, the meetings aim to provide an overview on the various activities and fertilise exchange that is vital to our success. Scientists from ESS member countries currently not engaged in in-kind activities but interested in joining are encouraged to participate.
IKON18 will be a collaboration meeting for building the ESS Neutron Scattering Systems. The meeting will start on Monday, after lunch with a plenary session at . IKON18 will end on Thursday at lunch time.

We are putting together a coordinated plan to incorporate polarised neutrons to many ESS instruments. An overview of the polarised neutron setup options for individual instruments will be discussed.
The bunker project is now fully in production. The first delivery has taken place, and the first elements are about to be installed.
This presentation will give an update of the project, the schedule (short and long term), with particular emphasis on planned time slots for curved walls (instrument feed-throughs) installation, update on the current activities, and short ‘look back’ at the activities associated with installation readiness.
NSS project planning and coordination, including monthly progress reporting for instruments and the bunker construction and installation schedule. Update on the NSS project plan.
